Tuesday 21st April - walks **** – Around Felixstowe – sunny and breezy.

I once again head a ride round just after 6.30 this morning taking a few weather pics along the seafront and onto the view point, it was pleasant enough in the early morning sunshine. There was a good breeze from the NE forecast today but I had to give windsurfing a miss today as I had an appointment at 12.30 so after breakfast I did my exercises in the back garden. I then packed a picnic as we set off up the town to Specsavers then after visiting a couple of shops we headed down to the seafront and being a little early for lunch we turned left and walked to Jacobs Ladder and for the most part we were fairly sheltered from the 20 knot breeze, it was quiet too and a lovely walk in the sunshine and deep blue sky! We were aiming for our bench near the Spa theatre but that was taken so we headed for the tiered section of garden near the pram walk bumping into Roger an old bird watching friend:) We reached a nice bench with a nice view of the prom below, the only downside was the Felixstowe oafs had left 30 empty cans of lager under the seat, what complete tossers, considering there was a bin close-by! We cleared the cans up which are now in our recycle bin! We enjoyed a relaxing lunch in the sunshine before walking round to an old friend, Mary for a cuppa and a chat!
I was once again chuffed when the lovely Chris Page for ITV’s About Anglia used another one of my pics on his weather forecast!
